Okay. It's after 10:30, way past my bedtime, and I'm going there, but I just thought I'd put this out there.

I just reread all of what I'd posted for Firebolt Ring, ykno, hoping to get back in the groove. And I found myself thinking, "Wow, I wrote that? Nifty!" Not actually a good sign. And then I searched my trusty laptop to find the mysterious and unfinished next part of Firebolt Ring. There it was - first section done, second section just begun, and then it just stopped, and I thought... "Oh dear. I don't remember what comes next."

The good news is that in general I know what comes next, and hell, I could just make it up. I mean, that's sort of what I do anyway...

The point: I just spent my entire evening researching (granted, I was researching my own work, but it was necessary) and while it was fun to reread, I'm not sure it helped. ::sigh:: Perhaps sleeping on it will help. Here's hoping for inspiring and viktorous dreams. (You know, as opposed to the zukalicious ones.)

Right, so... I found this fic that I'd finished and had betaed... well, a while ago. Um, oops. And I sort of forgot to post it. At any rate, here you go. ::hugs:: to all.

Greetings and Happy Tuesday!

I myself have just successfully finished 2/7 of my NEWTs. I breeezed thru Theology (questions on the holy spirit! yay! ...also, questions about the first council of constantinople - less yay, but at least it was open book, which means open Google) and happily tripped through the very sad but exceedingly doable Liturgy & Music question (paraphrase: very horrible thing happens in your town, your congregation is being ripped apart b/c everyone blames everyone else. organize a public service for healing using such and such resources and tell us the theological reflection you've had on every small decision you've made in the liturgy & music. My themes: forgiveness and healing. 3 hrs, 4 pgs, no spaces.).

Now, as much as I did indeed enjoy myself on these two sets, who knows if I'll actually pass, but I'm less worried about that. I'll probably pass, and that coupled with the fact that I know God loves me, I'm feeling okey-dokey, and quite a bit energtic.

And so, I just went and polished up a bit of fic that I've been working on, (you know, instead of my sermon for Thursday morning) and I thought I'd offer it to you. It's only a few paragraphs, but it is from the next story in the Firebolt Ring series, called Letters Home. Of course, it's unbeta'd and therefore subject to massive adjustment, but I thought I'd let you in on where Viktor has his silly head this morning. (Well, it's evening for me, but it's morning in the fic, you see.)
